Your mission
As a highly qualified Senior Software Developer for automation and robotics, your responsibilities include developing image processing and assistance functions, as well as creating automation concepts for our vehicles. As an early team member, you will play a crucial role in building a team together with the CTO. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future development of our systems, ensuring profitability, and enabling us to achieve full automation. Also in the early development stages, your algorithms help to support the remote driver (assistance systems).

Your tasks
  • Design, development, and implementation of automation and image-processing solutions for our vehicles.
  • Design and development of machine vision, SLAM, path planning, and control algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain software for automation systems, including programming in languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging automation systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners in the procurement of automation components.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in automation technology.
Your profile
  • Background in robotics/computer science (Bachelor/Master/Ph.D.) with a track record of developing functional systems.
  • At least 3+ years of industry experience in vehicle automation / autonomous systems.
  • Experience with embedded and robotic systems, including machine vision, SLAM, path planning, and control.
  • Strong knowledge of software development (C++ and Python) and real-time Linux.
  • Strong knowledge of ROS / ROS 2.
  • Work in a structured and proactive manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations is advantageous.
